He is survived by: his wife Irene Lillian Guerrero; his children, Roberta Benson (Patrick) of Tama, Carla Traversie (Shawn) of White Horse, SD and Shawn Benson of Tama; his adoptive sons, Vernon Jefferson (Misty) and Ryan Roberts; his grandchildren, Tanner, Jayci, Caylor, Ricky, Kylie, Brannon, Caden, McKennan, Christian, Shannae, Shawn, Brad, Marley, Kolton and Jazzlyn; his great grandchildren, Andon, Gladys, Tayevia, Tyron, Ariyani, Kynzlei, Leilani, K'Bryn, Canku, Kevryn, Jamerson, Mila, Mason, Brantley, Isabel and Ermias; and his sister Linda Tyon of Tama. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
