It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Lou Hollandsworth of Mount Vernon, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on September 14, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Linda Lou may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Westveer and Lois Westveer (Johnson). She is survived by: her daughters, Cassandra Hollandsworth of Center Point, Karlynne "Missy" Birmele (Pat) of South Bend, LaDonna Fluharty of Constantine and Tracy Stanger (JW) of Millersburg, Indiana; and her sisters, Anna Farber, Peggy Westveer, Cherie Norman and Monica White. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
