It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVonne Bova (Mount Vernon, Iowa), born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Vandeberg and Esther Vandeberg (Eldstrom); and her sisters, Irene Vandeberg-Miehe, Jean Vandeberg-Oldorf and Marjorie Vandeberg-Hayslett.
She is survived by: her children, Gregg Bova, Thomas Bova, Barbara Bova and Lynette Bova-Butteris; her grandchildren, Jeremiah Butteris, Zachary Butteris, Michelle Jones, Megan Jones and Derek Bova; and her great grandchildren, Branzen Butteris, Bella Butteris, Violet Butteris and Emily Mundaca.
Memorial may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
