It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Durwood Schoff (Mount Vernon, Iowa), born in Lisbon, Iowa, who passed away on March 30, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schoff and Lydia Schoff; his parent-in-law Edward Forest; his brothers, Wayne, Melvin and Stanley; and also Edna Forest.
He is survived by: his wife Bonita (Bonnie); his children, Lori Shear of Fulton, IL and Lance (Sue) of Mount Vernon; his grandchildren, Tiffiny, Tanner, Cooper and Samantha; his great grandchild Drake; and his sisters, Beverly Achey (Carl) of Lisbon and Shirley Morehead (Howard) of Camanche. He is also survived by 27 nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Kenneth's memory may be directed to the Mount Vernon Community Wellness Center fundraising campaign or the Lisbon History Center.
