She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cilek and Marie Cilek; and her siblings, David Cilek and Ellen Stout. She is survived by: her husband Roland Henik of Mount Vernon; her children, John Henik (Janice) of Mount Vernon and Mary Ellen Haesemeyer (Robert) of Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Joshua Henik (Katlyn) of Mount Vernon, Kara Gosiak (Joshua) of Marion, William Haesemeyer of Washington Crossing and Katherine Haesemeyer of Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania; and her great grandchildren, Natalie and Josephine Henik.

Memorials in Kathryn's memory will be given to the Saints Peter and Paul Historical Society.

“Kathryn was so kind to me throughout my life. She hosted my high school graduation party when it was going to much for my grandmother to do and my step-mother expressed no interest. She and Roland were also there for my father when he had brain surgery and for the rest of his life as he continued with his health issues. She was also a great help after my father passed away. I will miss her dearly and wish to extend my deepest condolences to Roland and to John and Mary and their families.”
