Scott Whiton wrote a sympathy message

“He was my football , track coach and P.E teacher for 3 years at Perry before he moved on to Mt.Vernon. He was tough but just wanted to get you to preform to the best of your ability. Didn't know how special of a coach he was until he moved to Mt.Vernon. Followed him thru out his career there. Still am proud that I had him for a coach. He was a special person. Sorry for your loss. Till we meet again coach RIP. Scott Whiton”
