He was predeceased by: his father Larry Leopold. He is survived by: his wife Mary Leopold; his mother Carol "Susie" Leopold (McDermott); his children, Matt, Ben (Sam), Jake, Nick and Annie; his brother Tom Leopold (Kim); his mother-in-law Mazie Boyd; and his pets, Oli and Jax. He is also survived by many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; many nieces and nephews; and many loving family members and friends.

Memorials may be made to the family with the intention of donating the memorials to Mount Vernon students in need.
