He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Anna; his siblings, Milo and Adeline; and his grandson Thomas William.
He is survived by: his wife Elva; and his children, Vicky Petruzziello (Michael), Jacklyn Moore, Gail Logan, Glen Wolrab, Janette Blinks and Jill Clark (Bill). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchilden; cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Francis' name to the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Mount Vernon, Iowa or to The Lutheran Hour.
