Elaine Henik Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Henik (Mount Vernon, Iowa), who passed away on October 11, 2022 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elaine Henik to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marguerite Krob (Herbst) and Frank Krob; her husband Robert Henik; her children, Marilyn and Kevin Henik; her grandson Colin Brannaman; and also, Bob and Ida Henik.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Brannaman (Dan) and Mark Henik (Lisa) of Mount Vernon; her grandchildren, Ben Brannaman (Brittany), Alex Brannaman (Amber Wiltgen), Cory Brannaman (Caitlin), Jenna Kannegieter (Clint), Clint Henik (Angela), Cody Henik (Dainna Gier) and Kyle Henik (Sierra); her great grandchildren, Riley, Reese, Brody, Lydia, Claire, Chip and Austin; and her brothers, Richard, Paul and John. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts will be used to continue Elaine's passion for helping others by sponsoring a child through Compassion International and making a difference for local organizations.
