She was predeceased by: her husband Leon Shaffer; her siblings, Velma Schley (Walter), Irene Wink (Elmer), Ralph McVay (Leota), Herb McVay (Marie), Don McVay (Virginia) and Gilbert McVay; and her brother-in-law Howard Schley (Margaret).
She is survived by: her children, Bill Schley (Carol) of Ocala, FL and Bev Stewart (Larry); her grandchildren, Bret Stewart (Karla), Laurie Keller (Dave), Jeff Schley (Lory) and Jean Rowan (Rick); her great grandchildren, Dustin Stewart (Libby), Danell Franiak (Joe), Christopher Schley (Danielle), Drew Keller, Derk Keller and Tyler Schley; and her great great grandchildren, Charlie, Konnor, Nora Stewart and Claire Franiak. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the family; funds will go to the Martelle United Methodist Church and the Martelle Volunteer Fire Department.
