It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Walden (Mount Vernon, Iowa), who passed away on February 4, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Walden and Irma Coon Jepsen; his wife Carol Jean Hartenberger; his brother Roger Walden (Verlene); his siblings-in-law, Mary Wolrab Wolk and Darwin Ammeter; his uncle Harry Walden (Caroline); and his aunt Betty Walden.
He is survived by: his children, Mark, Deborah Goodlove-Condit, Todd (Sandy) and Beth Wood (Harry); his grandchildren, Katherine Giebeck (Brad), Eric Walden (Tanya), Nathan Goodlove (Amanda), Leah Sengbush, Kristen Monul (Marin), Danny Walden, Matt Calvello, Emily Walden, Timothy Smith (Keshia) and Jonathan Smith (Morgan); his great grandchildren, William, Matthew, Ronald, Reva, Thalia, Janae, Jordan, Isaiah, Sophie, Brayden, Faith, Augustus and Genevieve; his siblings, Chuck Coon (Joan) and Betty Ammeter; and his sister-in-law Shirley Allison.
