He was predeceased by: his father Rodney "Joe" Murphy; his brother Kim Murphy; and his stepfather John Poula. He is survived by: his children, Dana Murphy, Lynn Cassady, Donnie Murphy and Matt Recker; his grandchildren, Rogan, Jaden, Dalton, Rylan, Audrena, Hunter, Devin, Ethan and Owen; his former wife Diane Malatek; his mother Betty Poula; and his siblings, RJ Murphy, Jody Stewart and Cheryl Studt. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
