Dean Borg Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 22, 2020, at the age of 81, Dean Borg (Mount Vernon, Iowa), born in Forest City, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dean Borg to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Linda Leach of Forest City; and his siblings, Marlin, Shirley and Pauline. He is survived by: his sons, Randy, Barton, Lindsey and Matthew; his wife Sheila Feeney of Rock Island; his daughter Kierstyn (Mickelson); his grandchildren, Christopher (Devan), Zachary, Lucas (Elaina), Tanner (Nathan), Emily (Anna) and Caroline (Kierstyn); and his siblings, Betty, Sharon, Lyle and Julie.
In lieu of flowers, to honor Dean's lifelong interest in learning and opening doors of opportunity consider donations to the Mount Vernon Community Schools Foundation (See Link Below) to help to fund an annual scholarship for a high school graduate, or to the Iowa PBS Foundation (See Link Below) to help fund an annual internship for a college student pursuing a degree in journalism.
