She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyril Spangler and Gladys Spangler (Wilson); her son Steven Brokel; her brother Herb Spangler; and her sister-in-law Mavis Spangler.
She is survived by: her sons, David Brokel (Jane) of Riverside and Robert Brokel of Springville; her grandchildren, Cameron Noyes (Jacob), Brian Brokel, Dustin Brokel (Heather), Brandon Brokel (Erin), Aubrey Brokel and Colin Brokel; her great grandchildren, Chace Noyes, Reece Noyes, Ryan Brokel, Kylie Brokel, Michaela Brokel and Meredith Brokel; and her sister Patsy Sommerville of Mount Vernon.
