Dorothy (Debra Bislip) of Yuma; his siblings, Barbara Cox, Dale and Gale Dorothy; his grandchildren, Jason (Tasha), Jodi, Chad (Stacy) and Shelby; his sister-in-law Janet Smith of Birmingham; his sisters, Mildrend Ingalls, Esther Alexander and Mary Dodd; his brother-in-law Robert Smith; and also Danny Cary.
A memorial has been established in Vern's name for a decision to be made at a later date.
