He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Hart and Bertha Hart (Mills); and his brothers, Gene Hart and Ronnie Hart. He is survived by: his children, Janet Wright, Larry Hart (Sue Anne) of Palm Bay, Jim Hart (Holly) of Jacksonville, Tony Hart (Jenny) of Snowville, Virginia and Shawn Hart (Christina) of Ottumwa; and his siblings, Gary Hart, Janet Young, Joan Millard, Berta Pearson, Ginger Robertson and Cherry Hermanstorfer. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the Federation of the Blind in his memory.
