She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Sandquist and Jessie Lucille Sandquist (Schenk); her former husbands, James Young and Warren Housel; and her spouse Irl Wesley Brandmeyer.
She is survived by: her children, William Young (Marla) of Mt. Pleasant, Carla Johnson (Mark) of Council Bluffs, IA and Mary Ann Downey; and her brother Howard Sandquist. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
