Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ruth Wallingford of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 81, on March 12, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Gohn and Elizabeth Gohn (Judd); her sisters, Beverly Schubert and Sandy Warth; her grandson Zachery Liles; and her great grandchild Justis Liles.
She is survived by: her husband Wendell Wallingford; her children, Sherri Boecker (Richard) of Mount Pleasant, Lisa Liles (David) of Wayland, Furman Goff, Steven Wallingford of Atlantic, Sandra Wallingford of Atlantic and Scott Wallingford of Cedar Rapids; and her siblings, Sherry Brown (John) of Danville, Jim Gohn of Middletown and Merv Gohn (Lori) of West Burlington. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel (709 E Maple Leaf Dr, Mt Pleasant, IA 52641).
