It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Robert M. Scarff of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 88, on January 11, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Otto and Mary Marie Scarff (Todd); his son Thomas Robert Scarff; his grandsons, Wyatt and Waylan Ellenberg; and his sisters, Ruth VanTrump, Helen Perrott, Rosemary Smith and Roberta Calloway.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis McClure; his children, Debra Lyon (Jeff) of Mt. Pleasant, David Scarff of Mt. Pleasant and Carol Beam (Brad) of Lincolnton; his grandchildren, Josh, Kathryn, Casey, Marissa, Cassidy, Blake, Mindy and Nick; his great grandchildren, Joshua, Ezra, Eden, Margaret, Drew, Layla, Levi, Evelyn, Axel, Isabel and Bella Rose; and his sister Patty Kerr.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murphy Funeral Home (408 N Broadway St, Mt Pleasant, IA 52641). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Trenton Missionary Church.
Memorials may be directed to the White Oak Cemetery or to the Trenton Missionary Church in his memory.
