With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Paula J Hurley of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, born in Flint, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Paula left this world on September 20, 2024 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Loren Dodge and Mary Dodge (LaBeff); her former spouse Jerry Dunn; her husband Jim Hurley; her children, Russell Dunn and Julie Dunn; and her brother Edward Dodge.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Hurley, Jimmy Hurley (Tammy), Kim Hurley (Karen), Phillip Dunn (Minnie), Mike Hurley (Jamie) and Tammy Austin (Dan); and her grandchildren, Ashley, Rawley, Brittney, Stephanie, Henery, Brandon, Dwight, Tayler, Tyler, Sara, Sean, Scottie and Jenna. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Murphy Funeral Home (408 N Broadway St, Mt Pleasant, IA 52641). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to St Jude Children's Hospital in her memory.
