She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover C. Thompson and Catherine B. Thompson (Burrows); her former husband Myron R. Schmeiser; and her siblings, Richard, Virginia, Mary, Thomas, Betty, Jack, Dale, Doris, Dorothy, Helen, Kenneth, Harry and James.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Schmeiser (Shirley) of Atkins, Nancy Schmeiser of Mt. Pleasant, David Schmeiser of Kearns, Linda Schmeiser, Kim Schmeiser-Akers (David) of Belgrade and Yellowstone; her grandchildren, Angela West (Brian) of Indianola, Luci Schmeiser of Cedar Rapids, Lori Schmeiser of Cedar Rapids, Joshua Schmeiser (Laura), Amanda Schmeiser of Sterling, Michaela Akers of Belgrade and Bryce Akers of Belgrade, Montana; her great grandchildren, Ryanna West of Chattanooga, Andrew West (Maddie) of Berwik, Harrison West of Indianola, Dominic West of Indianola and Finn Schmeiser; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Jo Snowden of Burlington, Patty Curtis of Burlington and Helen Schmeiser of Burlington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
