Opal I. Wiggins Obituary
In loving memory of Opal I. Wiggins (Mount Pleasant, Iowa), who departed this world on November 29, 2024 at the age of 98. Opal leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Macy Dale Wiggins; her daughter Retha Carol Wiggins; and her siblings, Anna Lowe, Gladys Lee, Delores Sinn, Carol Payne, Everett Manning and Patricia Manning.
She is survived by: her daughters, Esther Lance (David) of Trenton and Julie Conner (Michael) of Las Vegas, NV; her grandchildren, Irene Brown (Fred) of Lockridge, Dale D. Lance of Trenton, Jodi Pitrello (Patrick) of Las Vegas, NV and Joni Perez of Las Vegas, NV; and her brother Lyle Manning of Bertram, TX.. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel (709 E Maple Leaf Dr, Mt Pleasant, IA 52641). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for Trenton United Methodist Church and the Van Vorhies Haus.
