It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Edsel Edgington of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, born in Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on September 14, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edsel Burl and Carla Jean Kinsinger Edgington; and his brother Gary. He is survived by: his wife Tina June Jenkins; his stepdaughter Amber Jenkins of Mt. Pleasant; his sons, Shane of Windsor, Christopher of Burlington, Brandon of Iowa City, Jacob (Katie) of Manchester, John of Mt. Pleasant and Jediah of Mt. Pleasant; his grandchildren, Patrick, Olivia, Miles, Jonah, Maren, Isla and Finnegan; his great grandchild Kaden; and his siblings, Roma Edgington of New London, Pam Wick of New London, Wendell of Ft. Madison and Ferlin of New London. He is also survived by aunts; and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Mt. Pleasant High School FFA.
