Kenneth C. Burden Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth C. Burden (Mount Pleasant, Iowa), born in Milford, Nebraska, who passed away on November 19, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Burden and Hazel Burden (Schweitzer); his daughter Nancy Yotter; and his brothers, Jack, Bob, Lowell, Dick and Bill (Gary).
He is survived by: his wife Betty Klopfenstein; his children, Alan Burden (Pam) of New London, Linda LeWitter (Jon) of Phoenix, AZ and Christine Michel (Erick) of Wilmette; his son-in-law Matt Yotter (Laura); his sister Jean Roth of Washington; and his stepchildren, Jim Klopfenstein (Karol) of Mt. Pleasant, Steve Klopfenstein (Rebecca) of Richland and Barbara Freese Mt (Kevin Thomas). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren and 11 step great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in his memory to the White Oak Cemetery.
