He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Eva Mae Buchfeld (Meadows); his stepsiblings, Julie Flores (Carlos), Terry Lynn Dawson (Mike) and Kenneth Troy Ewing (Sharon); his close friend Chris Rusch; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Chelsea, Nicholas and Christian; his father Donald Buchfeld; his stepmother Joyce Buchfeld; his stepsiblings, Raymond and Deborah Loescher; and also, Francesca, Philip, Erin, Kaela, Kendra, Kevin, Jaina and Leia.
The military honors was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Keokuk National Cemetery. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Murphy Funeral Home (408 N Broadway St, Mt Pleasant, IA 52641).
