She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe D. Strang and Katherine M. Strang (Burke); her husband Dick; her brother Frank Strang; her siblings-in-law, Patrick Ryan and Jean Potter; and her son-in-law Mark Rose.
She is survived by: her children, Theresa Rose of Mount Pleasant, Beth Swafford (Wayne) of Fairfield, Marcus Looker (Marilyn) of Mequon, WI, Michael Looker (Angie) of Forest City and Ted Looker (Gretchen) of Lockridge; her sister Chris Ryan of Cedar Rapids; and her siblings-in-law, Marcia Strang of Oswego, NY and Bob Potter of Walcott. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel (709 E Maple Leaf Dr, Mt Pleasant, IA 52641). A rosary will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church (607 S Jackson St, Mt Pleasant, IA 52641).
Memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
