She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Garrett Van Ginkel, Jr. and Ellen Peterson Van Ginkel. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Brown; and her children, Carolyn Thomas (Jack) of Champaign, Illinois, James Brown (Sarah) of Fenton, Missouri and Andrew Brown (Melanie) of Lincoln, Nebraska.. She is also survived by four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Masonic Temple (206 N Main St, Mt Pleasant, IA 52641).
Memorials may be directed to the family for decisions to be made later.
