With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jerri M. Dean of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, LaVon Zike and Ila Zike (Baker); her daughter Marsha; her husband Vernon Dean; and her siblings, Robert Zike, Marilyn Ingwerson and Ellen Boulnois.
She is survived by: her children, Monica Wesely (Brad) and Eric Dean of Mt. Pleasant; and her grandsons, Nicolas Wesely of Ft. Collins and Nathan Wesely (Deryn) of Cordova. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial in her memory has been established to the Marsha G. Dean Nursing Scholarship at Southeastern Community College, established by Dean and Jerri in honor of their daughter or to St. Michael's Episcopal Church.
