She is survived by: her caregiver Aide; her children, Charlie Wandling (Shirley) of Mt. Pleasant, Susan Hill (Tom) of Iowa City and Jane Sammons (Jay Speckeen) of Iowa City; her daughter-in-law Judy Sammons of West Branch, IA; her grandchildren, Nick Hill, Ryan Hill (Mary Kay), Scott Sammons (Rebecca), Julie Jedlicka (Chad), Matthew Millard (Mary), Benjamin Millard (Shannon) and Dallas Kyle; her great grandchildren, William, Harrison, Josephine, Jack, Boden, Samuel, Emry, Marek and Jensen; her sons, Gary Sammons and Robert Sammons; her brother Ralph Johnson; and also, Lynn and Maxine Bender. She is also survived by her brother Ralph's children.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kimzey Funeral Home (213 N Main St, Mt Pleasant, IA 52641). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
