He is survived by: his parents, David Smith and Janet Smith (McMillan); his sister Hannah Perry (Drew); his son Cooper of Solon; his brother Cole Smith (Shay Slifka) of Lone Tree; his grandparents, Velna Smith of Salem, Robert and Elizabeth McMillan of Stanley; his close friend Grant Davidson of Mount Pleasant; and his pet Mollie.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel (709 E Maple Leaf Dr, Mt Pleasant, IA 52641). A wake was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 4:30 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church (607 S Jackson St, Mt Pleasant, IA 52641).
Wake Service will be held at 4:30 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for Midwest Old Thresher's for accessibility improvement.
