It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Moore of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Helen leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer F. Kelley and Irene Kelley (Phillips); her children, Diane Moore Pilchen and Michael R. Moore; and her brother Robert Kelley.

She is survived by: her husband George R. Moore of Mount Pleasant; her daughters, Teresa Crew (Steve) of Mount Pleasant, Karen Nichols (Ron) of Astor, FL and Joyce Sellars (Derek) of Oskaloosa; her son-in-law Steve Pilchen of Oskaloosa; her sister Edith Hale; and her sister-in-law Pat Kelley of Ottumwa. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
