Doris Wellington Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 31, 2023, at the age of 80, Doris Wellington of Mount Pleasant, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Register and Mae Register (Simkin); her sister Janet Mannen; her brother-in-law Robert Smoot; and her great-niece Cassidy Flowers.
She is survived by: her sons, Walter "Butch" Wellington (Dianna) of Mount Pleasant and Kevin Wellington (Peggy) of Mount Pleasant; her grandchildren, Mallory Cottrell (Aaron), Randi Ettinger (Nicholas), Justis Wellington (Danielle) and Cody Timmerman (Chanda); and her sister Donna Jean Smoot of Laramie, Wyoming. She is also survived by grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
The family will be present to greet friends beginning at 4:00 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for Oakland Mills Ladies Aid.
