He was predeceased by: his parents, James Richards and Mable Richards (Ross); his siblings, Jim Teel and Betty McMillian; and his daughter-in-law Michelle Richards.
He is survived by: his wife Cecelia Hogan; his children, Barbara Brown (Randy) of Mount Union, David Richards (Cathy Sanders) of Montrose and Mark Richards of Danville; and his grandchildren, Mitch Brown (Julie), Sarah Edwards, Kevin Brown (Kelsey), David Richards, Mary Richards, Curtis Richards (Mary), Trent Richards and Miranda Richards. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
