With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deloris Jackson of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, born in Creston, Iowa, who passed away on August 18, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Gillette and Doris Gillette (Longfellow); and her son Troy Jackson. She is survived by: her former husband Richard Jackson; her children, Kim Hauswirth of Danville, Jason Jackson (Lonetta) of Danville and Kristi Palmer (Levi) of Mediapolis; her daughter-in-law Christy Jackson of Danville; her grandchildren, Baylee, Macy, Wyatt Jackson, Kylene Hauswirth, Kolton, Kody, Kelsey, Kaleb Jackson, Brantly, Tyler Palmer, Kenzie Langan and Ayden Doyle; her great grandchildren, Weston Jackson and Oakley Shoemaker; and her brothers, Dale Gillette (Joanna) of Bettendorf, Jon Gillette of Davenport and Jamie Gillette (Tammy) of Maryville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House.
