He was predeceased by: his father James B. Snodgrass; his in-laws, Gilbert and Phyllis Behrens; his siblings-in-law, Gary Ohrt and Nikki Phelps; and his niece Jodi Phelps.
He is survived by: his mother Helen L. Snodgrass (White) of Mount Pleasant; his wife Barbara Behrens; his daughters, Kelli Welu (Ty) of Peosta and Heidi Wheeler of Washington; his grandchildren, Carson, Kennedy and Parker; his brother Mike Snodgrass (Sue) of Naples, Florida; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Ohrt (Dan Wagner) of Tipton and Wayne Behrens (Nanette) of Atalissa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel (709 E Maple Leaf Dr, Mt Pleasant, IA 52641). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (309 N Main St, Mt Pleasant, IA 52641). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Tipton Masonic Cemetery (1093-1095 Cedar Valley Rd, Tipton, IA 52772).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital.
