She was predeceased by: her parents, Hope L. Eland and Lonia Gale "Gayle" Eland (Carter); her husband Robert Maynard Kerr; her grandson Brandon Moler; and her brother Edward Eland.
She is survived by: her children, Deb Heindselman (Mark) of Cedar Rapids, Steve Kerr of Mt. Pleasant and Susan Coleman of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Nathan Moler, Stacia Fee, Stephane Schillie, Nick Kerr, Jessica Salzwedel, Megan Coleman and Kristin Coleman; and her sister Liz Wasson (Terry) of Mt. Pleasant. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Caryl.
