With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carl Lee Wickham (Mount Pleasant, Iowa), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Waldo and Helen Eileen Wickham (Rawhouser); his brother Raymond Wickham; and his pets, Ruby, Minnie, Daphne and Carl.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Dunblazier of Mt. Pleasant; his children, Stacey (Rob Swigart), Michael (Steffanie Wickham) and Marcy (Mark Shrum); his grandchildren, Todd Swigart, Makenzie Kruger (Nick), Elaina Bell (Jesse), Mallory Volkmann (Daniel), Benjamin Wickham, Mason Shrum, Makiah Shrum and Max Shrum; his great grandchildren, Addison, Kolton Kruger, Jeremiah, Elijah Bell and Jackson Volkmann; his sister-in-law Sandra Wickham of Florida; and his pet Bootsey.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kimzey Funeral Home (213 N Main St, Mt Pleasant, IA 52641). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. He fully retired during the Covid pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, those considering an expression of sympathy may direct memorials to the Henry County EMS, c/o of the Henry County Health Center Foundation.
