She was predeceased by: her parents, George Arnold and Truma Arnold; her husband Donald D. Rice; and her daughter Sherry Joan Shields. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Robinson of Sedalia and Curtis Shields of Carrolton, Missouri; and her siblings, Larry Turner of Louisville, Kentucky and Thelma Womack of Carrolton, Missouri.. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (205 W Monroe St, Mt Ayr, IA 50854). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
