We bid farewell to Steve Fletcher (Mount Ayr, Iowa), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 23, 2024 at the age of 70. Steve touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Troy and Alice Alcista Fletcher (Wimer); his daughter Stephanie Gail; his siblings, Larry, John, David, Ed, Charlie and Karen Magee; and his siblings-in-law, Roxie Fletcher and Ronnie Bird.
He is survived by: his wife Jolene Fletcher of Kellerton; his son Tracy Fletcher (Ashley, family: Tyson, Reilly, Lyric, Cory Jeralds) of Fontanelle, IA; his grandchildren, Kaylee, Kody, Dayla, Ladn and Miranda (Jake); his great grandchild Riot Supinger; his granddaughter Rhonda Boswell (Jamie, family: Tommy Hill); his family Nathan Hill (Jenni); his siblings, Peggy Olson (Ted) of Mitchellville, IA, Richard Fletcher of Corning, IA, Tom Fletcher of Benton, IA and Pat Bird of Creston, IA; and his in-laws, Dale Magee of Creston, IA and Bonnie Fletcher of Diagonal, IA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (205 W Monroe St, Mt Ayr, IA 50854). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are to the family to be decided.
