With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Winkler of Mount Ayr, Iowa, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on November 28, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Watts and Vera Watts (Duzenbury); her husband Casper F. Winkler (Cap); her daughter Karen Wiseley; her granddaughter DeAnna Winkler; and her brothers, Floyd Watts (Bob) and Gerald Watts.
She is survived by: her children, Gordon Winkler (Linda), Wayne Winkler (Marilyn) and Donna Lutes (John); her stepson Dennis Winkler; her son-in-law Tod Wiseley; and her grandchildren, Lori Winkler, Melissa Ballantyne, Heidi Bader, Danielle Anthony, Marcus Lutes, Lauren Wagner and Allen Wiseley. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the South Central Iowa Community Foundation, to be designated for the Ringgold County Hospital.
