He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lee and Aldah Lavaun Brown (Waggoner); and his siblings, Joy Brown, LaRetta Novak, Carroll Brown and Marvin Brown.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dwain Brown of Pleasant Hill, IA, Arlan Brown (Linda) of Indianola, IA, Gale Brown of Lincoln, NE, Sharon Robison (Dave) of Altoona, IA and Reta Freihage of Ellston, IA; and his sister-in-law Leona Brown of Nevada, IA. He is also survived by 8 nephews and 16 nieces; other relatives and friends.
Memorial fund is to the Ringgold Post #172, American Legion, in Mount Ayr.
