He was predeceased by: his parents, Grayce Foltz (Vanatta) and William Glen Foltz; his wife Pattie; his nephew Ken Shelden; and his siblings-in-law, Richard, Clarence, David Culver, Mae Shelden, Irene Culver, Doris Culver and Wilbur Wagenknecht.

He is survived by: his sister Peggy Wagenknecht; his children, Cathy Foltz of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Pam Poore (Clint) of Mt. Ayr, Ann Semrad (Greg) of Galesburg, Kansas, Sherry Adams (Larry) of Mt. Ayr and Pati Fried (Clifford) of Piedmont; his grandchildren, Caine Poore of Mt. Ayr, Iowa, Callie Poore of Denver, Colorado, Braydee Poore of Loveland, Colorado, Lane, Hunter and Payton Semrad of Galesburg, Kansas; his great grandchild Dustin Adams (Renee) of Gardner, Illinois; his grandchildren, Shelly Adams of Dallas, Texas and Tara Grandfield (Zac) of Lorimor, Iowa; his great grandchildren, Daniel Fried, Molly Fried of Portland, Oregon, Davida Jernigan of Mt. Ayr, Bryan Shields of Lorimor, Iowa., June of Lorimor, Iowa., Wyatt of Lorimor, Iowa. and Jaxon Grandfield of Lorimor, Iowa.; and also Mae (Ray Shelden). He is also survived by nieces and nephew who became his "children" after the death of their parents.
