She was predeceased by: her parents, August Dreier and Matilda Dreier (Reemstma); her husband Phillip Forsythe; her children, Jim Forsythe, Fred Hethcote and Melynda Crawford; her siblings, Goldie Schneckel and LeRoy "Hap" Dreier; her son-in-law Ron Mulvania; and her great grandchild Matthew Austin.
She is survived by: her children, Ted Hethcote (Stephanie) of Maryville, Melanie Forsythe (Mulvania) of Raeford and Dale Forsythe of Raeford.
