With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mari McGehee (Mount Ayr, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Rees and Ellen Charlotte "Lottie" Rees (Barnett); her brother William Ralph; her husband Ike; her sister Jo; her brother-in-law Bob Loudon; her in-laws, Kenneth "Ike" and Loueva McGehee; and her brother-in-law Ted McGehee.
She is survived by: her children, Mitzi Jo of Mount Ayr and Michael James of Creston; her grandchildren, Michael Hymbaugh, Michelle Hines, Matthew Hymbaugh (Nathan Schneider), Jacob McGehee (Maggie), Ashley Coenen (Tyler) and Brooke McGehee; her great grandchildren, Lexi, Allison Hines, Connor, Ellie McGehee, August, Drexel and Arthur Coenen; and her sister-in-law Virginia Rees of Clinton, IA. She is also survived by 1 niece; 4 nephews.
