He was predeceased by: his parents, Riley Fletcher and Ora McAlexander (Paddock); his children, Jerry McAlexander and Shirley McAlexander; his siblings, Carl (Marjorie McAlexander), Bob (LaVara McAlexander), Naomi (Don Johnston) and Dale McAlexander; and his sister-in-law Esther McAlexander.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his children, Larry McAlexander (Cathy) of Prairie and Deborah Van Horn (Dan) of Bloomfield, IA; his daughter-in-law Rosalie McAlexander of Beaconsfield, IA.; his brother Gene McAlexander; and his sisters-in-law, Joy McAlexander, Jane Pallas and Peggy Christianson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
