Keith Whitson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Keith Whitson (Mount Ayr, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 11, 2024 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Keith Whitson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy M. Whitson and Alice D. Scott Whitson; and his siblings, Norma Osborn and Dale Whitson. He is survived by: his wife Beth Avalee Walters Whitson; his brother Raymond Whitson (Sandy); his children, Brian Whitson, Kathy Bretz (Kevin), Peggy Whitson (Clarence Sams) and Hugh Whitson (Jackie); his grandchildren, Christopher Whitson (Laura), Tyler Whitson, Tess Rinehart (Tanner), Bailey Myer, Megan Smith and Kelsey Whitson; and his great grandchildren, Letty, Pierce, Breckin Whitson, Clyde, Ike and Quinn Rinehart. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wishard Chapel Community Church (1796 State Hwy 169, Mount Ayr, IA 50854). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial fund has been established to the Raider Education Foundation with emphasis towards Emily Thomas and elementary STEAM department and/or Raider Cafe.
