It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry Marler (Mount Ayr, Iowa), born in Grant City, Missouri, who passed away on June 14, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Marler and Maude Marler (Rinehart); his former wife Mary Ruth; his siblings, Frances McCalla, Ferne Marler, Bobby Marler and Bill Marler; his siblings-in-law, Gerold Willey, Eugene McCalla and Betty Marler; and his stepson Eddie Long.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his sister Jean Willey of Mount Ayr, IA; his nieces, Stephanie Fell (Paul) of Des Moines, IA and Kim Weehler (Bob) of Mount Ayr, IA; his stepdaughters, Kathy Ray (James) of St Joseph, MO, Becky Fine of Albany, MO and Diana Smith (John) of Albany, MO; and his siblings-in-law, Teckla Willumsen (Jim) of St Joseph, MO and Tom Warren (Megan) of Atchison, KS. He is also survived by eight step-grandchildren and twenty seven step great grandchildren.
Memorials are to St. Jude's Hospital and the First Christian Church in Mount Ayr.
