He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Cooper and Agnes Cooper; his in-laws, Joe and Vera Lindsey; his siblings, Imogene McMahon (Jim), Beverly Michael (H. B.) and Harold Cooper (Phyllis); and his grandson Triston Ackley.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Julie Ackley (Jason) of Tingley, IA and Jeff Cooper (Julie) of Grand Junction, IA; his grandchild Hanna Ackley of Des Moines, IA; his stepgrandchildren, Mae Davis (Burt) of Jefferson, IA and Allison Hamilton (Johnny) of Jefferson, IA; and his sister Sherry O'Brien (Tom) of Mount Ayr, IA. He is also survived by 5 step-greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
