She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Bloomfield and Lena Helen Stone (Swanson); her husband Donald Irving Grout; her sons, Ivan and Lynn Grout; her son-in-law Rodney Stark; her siblings, Jim Stone (Imogene), John Stone, Harold Stone (Carrie) and Alice Leeper (Gene); and her in-laws, Doris Grout, Harold Grout (Pearl), Charles Grout (Joanne), Dale Grout (Jean), Marvin Grout (Jan), Kenneth Grout (LaDonna) and Jon Hoy.
She is survived by: her children, Patty Freeman (Jim) of Mount Ayr, IA, Glenn Grout (Debb) of Lenox, IA, Mary Adams (Harold) of Mount Pleasant, IA, Ralph Grout (Cindy) of Ankeny, IA and Billie Jo Greene (Curt) of Ellston, IA; and her in-laws, Ruth Hoy, Ron Grout (Nancy) of Des Moines, IA and Robert Grout of Berwick, IA. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
