She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny and Clarissa; her husband Glen Hutchinson of Mount Ayr; her sons, Eddie and Gene; and her sisters, Opal and Lola.

She is survived by: her daughter Joann Rathe (David) of Creston. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
